REAL ID/ACCEPTABLE ID

TSA Introduces New $45 Fee Option for Travelers Without REAL ID starting February 1, 2026.

Cell Phone Lot

AVP provides an additional alternative for those that are picking up arriving passengers. The lot is located at the entrance to the Airport off old Navy Way Road.

Military Appreciation Room

Available to all active, returning and deploying military travelers, veterans and their families, this room is located on the main level behind the escalators, which offers a comfortable place with some privacy while at AVP. Hours are 4:00 AM to 9:00 PM daily. Please see an Airport Ambassador or Airport Security to access. Proper military ID is required. Thank you for your service.

Free Wireless Internet Service

Enjoy FREE wireless connection service anywhere inside the Joseph M. McDade Terminal Building.

For those who have wireless Internet capability on their laptop (using an 802.11b capable wireless network card) you may now use the airport’s FREE wireless connection service anywhere inside the Joseph M. McDade Terminal Building.

Lactation Rooms

Located on the second level of the Terminal Building. One is located outside the Administration Offices, while the other is located past the Security Checkpoint near the escalator to Gates 1 and 2.

Meditation Room - Closed Under Construction

This room provides a collection of holy books, sacred writings, and prayer books for use by guests of the airport. People of all faiths are welcome and encouraged to use the room for quiet meditation.

The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport Interfaith Meditation Room is open 24 hours to meet the spiritual needs of the airport community. It is located on the second level of the Terminal Building, above the Information Center. This room provides a collection of holy books, sacred writings, and prayer books for use by guests of the airport. People of all faiths are welcome and encouraged to use the room for quiet meditation.

The Ambassador Program, a volunteer organization that began May 25, 2006, is committed to the enhancement of customer service at AVP.

The (Red) tails Pet Therapy Program at AVP, a volunteer organization that began May 23, 2019, enhances the customer service experience at AVP through interactions with their certified therapy dogs. Click here for more information.

Mailing Services

USPS has a mailing center located near the Baggage Claim Area. Pickup: 9:30 AM, Mon-Sat.

Barry J. Centini Conference Room

Available for rental through the Administrative Offices. For additional information, including reservations and rental fees, please call 570.602.2000.

Terminal

Lucky’s Craft Food & Drink

Great food and a full-service bar right at the terminal level. Grab a quick bite before you enter the security check point.

Located on the second level of the Terminal Building, both are open 7-days a week, serving lunch & dinner, including full service bar beverages. Restaurant opens daily at approximately 10:30 AM.

Northeast PA News & Gift

Northeast PA News & Gift is located adjacent to Lucky's Restaurant & Bar on the second level of the Terminal Building.

Northeast PA News & Gift is located adjacent to Wings Restaurant & Bar on the second level of the Terminal Building.

Dunkin'

Located on the second level of the Terminal Building (past Security Checkpoint), you can sip and enjoy some of America’s favorite coffee and baked goods. Open daily from approximately 4:30 AM until the last departing flight.

Information Center

Get helpful information about local events, restaurants, attractions, hotels... and more.

If you have questions about services within the airport, find one of our friendly volunteer Ambassadors at the Information Center. You can also get helpful information about local events, restaurants, attractions and hotels. The Information Center is located near the middle entrances on the first level of the Terminal Building. There is also a 24-hour recording of general airport information when you call 570.602.2020.

Automatic Teller Machine (ATM)

A fast, convenient way to grab some cash without ever having to leave the comfort of the Terminal.

ATMs are provided within the Terminal Building, and are available 24 hours a day. One is located pre-security, in the center of the Terminal Building on the first level. Another is located post-security, near the escalator going to Gates 1 & 2.
