Dunkin’ Donuts is the Latest Addition at AVP

dunkindonuts-emailblast

Avoca, PA – The Bi-County Airport Board revealed today that Dunkin’ Donuts has been added as a concessionaire at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport.  The Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies were held today at the Airport.

Dunkin’ Donuts is the latest addition to the food concessions at the Airport.  This past July,   Lucky’s Craft Food & Drink also opened at the Airport as another restaurant option.  Earlier this year, the Bi-County Airport Board awarded on-site dining company Metz Culinary Management, Dallas, PA, with a contract to operate the Restaurant, Bar and Gift Shop at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport.  As a part of the newly signed agreement, Metz Culinary Management is partnering with the Airport to renovate the concessions.

“We feel that the concessions at AVP have been enhanced greatly through the partnership with Metz Culinary Management. Additionally, we believe Dunkin’ Donuts will attract people who have not necessarily used the Airport’s concessions in the past, given its wide range of delicious coffees, sandwiches and baked goods.”  – Patrick M. O’Malley, Airport Board Chairman

Open daily from 4:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Dunkin’ Donuts will serve its delicious range of hot and iced beverages, sandwiches and baked goods.  Dunkin’ Donuts offerings include hot and iced coffee, flavored coffees, lattes, macchiato, espresso, cappuccino, hot and iced teas, Coolatta® frozen drinks, donuts, muffins, bagels, sandwiches, and a DDSMART® menu featuring better-for-you items.

“Dunkin’ Donuts will be a great addition to our current food and beverage offerings, and will provide a convenient option for passengers to grab a cup of coffee or sandwich prior to departing on their flight.” Tim McGinley, Airport Board Vice-Chairman.

“An airport’s amenities consist of many different complementary options that meet the diverse needs of the traveling public. In addition to Lucky’s Craft Food & Drink, as well as Lucky’s Too, Dunkin’ Donuts will add a new element to our concessions.  We are confident that our travelers will appreciate the new services that Dunkin’ Donuts will provide.” – Carl R. Beardsley, Jr., Airport Executive Director
