JOINT BOARD OF MANAGEMENT PUBLIC MEETING
Notice is hereby given that the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport Joint Board of Management will hold their regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, December 20 at 10:30 AM. The meeting will be held in-person, in the Barry J. Centini Conference Room, 100 Terminal Drive, Avoca, PA.
The public is invited to attend.

Avoca, PA (August 6, 2024) – Customers departing from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport (AVP) with American Airlines now have the ability to make connections through a third hub – Philadelphia International Airport (PHL). Effective today, new service linking AVP and PHL is operated by luxury motor coaches as part of American Airlines’ partnership with The Landline Company.
August 5, 2024 (Avoca, PA) – This past weekend, AVP’s Public Safety Department hosted an Active Shooter/Planning Classroom and Exercise Course for the Airport’s Security Officers. Led by OIC Anthony DiVirgilio from the McAdoo Police Department, the course was designed for the potential scenario of an active shooter in the Joseph M. McDade Terminal Building.
